KAISER INTERNS
Please see the attached paperwork that details out what you need to do in regards to sign in procedures.  You must start signing in at the volunteer desk before site each day!

Good Evening Med Occs!

I am so excited for each of you tomorrow.  I know a couple of you will not be starting until Tuesday or Thursday, don't sweat it.  It will still be just as good!

A couple of reminders before you go to site tomorrow:

Everyone should be in uniform
That means;

• in scrubs
• hair tied back
• piercings out
• nails trimmed short and painted a neutral color
• Community Classroom Binder in hand with time sheet and journal
• cell phones and purses locked in the car
• Being on time = Being 15 minutes EARLY! ANTICIPATE YOUR NEEDS

Reminders

You need to type up your journal each night

All KAISER interns need to be at Kaiser Livermore from 10-12  for orientation.  Please be dressed in your scrubs and arrive at 9:45 to allow you time to find the orientation.  I have not been given a room name yet.

Final Few Updates

Hi All - I apologize we have had some last minute site switch ups.  I will keep you posted if it impacts your particular site.


Do not stress if your site has not called you back yet.  They are busy and all have their own jobs and families.  Remember this is an extra unpaid thing they do so be gracious and humbled by the opportunity.

Everyone, both my AM and PM classes are to come to GHS tomorrow from 1-3 pm.  We will not be following the finals schedule for the AM class.


Please bring a box of thank you cards and your three emergency forms with you along with your community classroom binder.I will also need a parent email (an email that gets checked more frequently is preferred) as this will be my way of communicating with your parents and guardians.

I had several meetings today, one with Kaiser who may need additional documentation from some of you as there is a new person in the position that processes on boarding students.  I have not gotten final word back from Kaiser as of this evening.  I will let you know for sure tomorrow.
