Last Day

Dear PM Class - I can't believe tomorrow will be our last day together! It seems as though I was just learning all of your names! Many of you have text me about times for tomorrow's class and what do you need to bring.  Here is the information.  In addition you should know I have another unexpected appointment tomorrow morning.  I plan to be in class but if something unforeseen pops up M.s Morelli will be there to finish out the year officially with you.  If that happens I will set aside an afternoon to celebrate with all of my PM class that following week.  I am sending up a little ask to the universe that I can be there to shake each of your hands one more time!

Class is 1-3, I feel like one of the schools may have had a final that ran into our class period but when I just checked each of the schedules it appears that everyone gets out in time to make a 1:00 o'clock start time.  Please text me if there is something I do not remember.

As a school or community organization supported by Kaiser Permanente, we invite you to encourage your youth to apply for the 2017 program.  This internship program provides youth from underserved communities and diverse backgrounds a paid full-time work experience for eight weeks over the summer.  While working, interns gain exposure to various health careers that they may choose to pursue after high school graduation. PERRY INITIATIVE 

New post on STEM In Action High School Girls Interested in Medicine and Engineering… by steminactionblog High school girls may apply to participate for the Perry Initiative  Outreach Program on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara in Santa Clara, CA. The Perry Outreach Program is a free, one-day, hands-on experience for high school and college-aged women who are interested in pursuing careers in medicine and engineering. Students will hear from women leaders in these fields and try it for themselves by performing mock orthopaedic surgeries and biomechanics experiments. Perry Outreach Program MAY be used as additional site hours or community service hours!

Online registering allows the Red Cross to schedule more effectively to out of class time is reduced!

There is a pink sign up sheet in our classroom on the board.

16 year olds really must use the pink sign-up sheet. The Red Cross system will not let them have an appointment online. They use the pink form and I will prepare a permission slip for them. When the Permission slip is turned in they get the appointment.

A couple of reminders before you go to site tomorrow:
